What is Early Access Program?
We at JetBrains believe that making tools for development teams should greatly involve listening to them. Our Early Access Program lets the community closely participate in discussions devoted to our products and influence development planning, from early stages onwards. Early Access Program allows you to try pre-release versions of our product to evaluate features that will be added to the next release.
It is important to distinguish EAP from traditional pre-release software. The quality of EAP versions may at times be way below even usual beta standards. If you are looking for a stable version of YouTrack, please, visit our site. Please note that once your instance is moved to YouTrack 7.0, it can't be downgraded back to YouTrack 6.5.

YouTrack 7.0 Standalone Builds:
We strongly recommend evaluating YouTrack 7.0 EAP builds in a test environment!
Otherwise you can revert to your current YouTrack version only by rolling back to a pre-upgrade backup of your database. Rolling back means that you will loose all the changes made in the EAP version!
Please refer to upgrade instructions and distribution-specific procedures before upgrading.
