Plugin Compatibility

Due to a major internal refactoring, we have made a significant number of backward incompatible changes to the plugin API. Most of third-party plugins will not work unless they are updated for Diana. (Plugin developers: See here for migration guide)

IntelliJ IDEA 8.0 Milestone 1 has been released. You can download it from the JetBrains Web site:

The license could not be verified: License Certificate has expired!

Each EAP build runs in evaluation mode for 30 days without entering a license. You can also use your purchased IntelliJ IDEA 7.0 license with EAP builds.

Release Notes

Installing this EAP build over a previous EAP build (earlier than 8526) will break your Subversion integration. EAP builds must be installed in a clean directory.

Build 8650 and newer include a New Packaging Configuration Editor.

The GenerateToString plugin is now bundled with Diana. If you already have an installation of the plugin from the plugin manager, please remove it before installing the Diana EAP build.

Diana includes its own code coverage engine, which can be used as an alternative to EMMA. You can find more information on it in IDEA Coverage Runner.
