To run YouTrack InCloud instances, JetBrains utilises Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting services. We have chosen Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) not only for the flexibility to choose from a number of different instance types to meet our hosting computing needs, but also for the premier quality of service provided. Amazon provides a Service Level Agreement that guarantees at least 99.95% Annual Uptime Percentage during the Service Year.

Utilised Server Types

To run YouTrack InCloud instances we use Amazon EC2 Standard M1 Large Instances with the following parameters:

  • 7.5 GiB memory
  • 4 EC2 Compute Units (2 virtual cores with 2 EC2 Compute Units each)
  • 850 GB instance storage
  • 64-bit platform
  • I/O Performance: High
  • EBS-Optimized Available: 500 Mbps
  • API name: m1.large

Details on Amazon EC2 instances are provided according to the description of EC2 Instance Types provided by Amazon Web Services.
