The Twitter plugin for Omea supports the following features:
- Viewing the user's timeline and mentions
- Searching by keywords
- Tweet aggregation (each tweet is displayed only once even if it came from multiple sources)
- Automatic expansion of short links
- Automatic detection of retweets (retweets are shown as part of the original tweet, not as separate resources)
- Unread status and unread count tracking
- Inline display of images from http://yfrog.com
