YouTrack Cloud 2024.1 Help

Maintenance Calendar

The YouTrack Cloud Maintenance Calendar keeps you informed about scheduled YouTrack maintenance downtime and other YouTrack events, including new version releases and upgrades. We want you to be informed about any possible downtime in advance in order to plan work with your issue tracker in the most effective way.

The YouTrack Cloud maintenance calendar

To access this calendar online, click here (requires a Google Account). If you don't have a Google Account, you can view the calendar directly in our YouTrack Support Center.

To find out when maintenance is scheduled for your instance, you first need to know where your instance is hosted. The current data center location for your instance is displayed on the Server Configuration tab of the Global Settings page. For more information, see License Details.

If you have any questions or need technical support, submit a support request. We're happy to help!

Scheduled Maintenance and Upgrades

We schedule a two-hour window for possible maintenance once a week. During this time, YouTrack Cloud instances may be unavailable.

We apply upgrades and bug fixes whenever a new version has been tested and is ready for release. Whenever possible, we apply updates during scheduled maintenance. However, given the frequency with which we deliver updates, we often add maintenance events to the calendar to upgrade YouTrack. We do our best to apply these updates with a minimum amount of downtime.

When a new major version of YouTrack is released, we upgrade our cloud servers gradually. This means that we upgrade small portions of our servers at a time to monitor the upgrade process and avoid potential issues. As a result, it may happen that your specific cloud YouTrack is upgraded to the new major version only a few weeks after the release date.

Unscheduled Outages

Outside of our scheduled maintenance windows, our aim is to ensure that your instance is always available. However, there are always unexpected circumstances that result in unplanned outages.

If you have problems accessing your instance outside of a scheduled maintenance window, you can check the availability on our YouTrack Cloud Service Status page. Here, you can verify the current availability of the hosting service and determine whether there were any interruptions in service over the last 20 hours or 30 days.
