To attach a file or screenshot to an issue, click Attach in YouTrack toolbar, and select one of the following four options:
|File||Ctrl+Alt+A||Choose a file to upload and optionally restrict its visibility to a user group.|
|Screenshot||Ctrl+Alt+S||When you choose this option, a screenshot applet displays with a countdown, and you have 3 seconds to prepare a display area to capture. After YouTrack has made a screenshot, modify it using the applet's toolbar, and click Attach.|
|Image from Clipboard||This option lets you grab a pre-captured screenshot from the clipboard. Similar to the Screenshot option, you can modify the screenshot using the applet's toolbar and click Attach when you've finished.|
|Image from Clipboard without Preview||Ctrl+Alt+V||This final option grabs a pre-captured screenshot from the clipboard but doesn't display the applet to edit it; instead, the screenshot is immediately attached to your issue.|
Specified shortcuts are available within New Issue dialog, YouTrack bookmarklet, as well as in viewing Issues list or the full screen issue mode. When you use shortcuts in the Issues list mode, the command will be applied and a file or a screenshot will be attached to the currently highlighted issue in the list.
To edit an attachment, click the pencil icon next to the attachment you wish to edit. The following Edit Attachment dialog will be opened:
|Visible for group||Customize attachment visibility by selecting a user group name from this list.|
|New name||Re-name the attachment by specifying the new name in this field.|
|Delete file||Click the button to delete the attachment.|
|Update||Click the button to apply the new parameters to the attachment.|
|Cancel||Click to close the dialog without updating the attachment.|
To delete an attachment, you can either click the cross icon next to the attachment, or click the Delete File button in the Edit Attachment dialog.
